DATE
Sunday 9th September 2007. Start Time: 12pm
LOCATION
Llaneglwys Forest, Llaneglwys, Brecon
COURSE DESCRIPTION
A hilly 7.6km course that picks the very best pieces of the challenging singletrack Llaneglwys has to offer. Used for the last three Merida Enduro’s, the forest has become a well established location to test your XC skills. The singletrack is stitched together with some good fireroad to make sure you get a good workout. Singletrack accounts for around 40% of the lap distance.

We plan to meet at the Picnic Site at 6:45pm prompt, with riders starting off from 7pm onwards at The Sheds.
The route goes anticlockwise, and is 8.6km in length.
Please note that this is a Club event, and members of local affiliated cycle clubs (e.g. Brecon Wheelers, Brecon Multisport, BAD cc) are welcome to attend free of charge. If you’re not yet a member, but would still like to participate please come along and join on the night.
The 10 mile club time trial series is now underway. Thirteen riders turned out on a lovely sunny spring evening for the first round. Weekly results will be posted on the forum, with updated series results appearing here (somewhere) in due course.
Check the “Events – Road” link opposite to see the dates and courses for future time trials
Well, here we are. Brecon Wheelers has pedalled head on into the world of websites and forums. Gradually these pages will become filled with all sorts of useful stuff relating to cycling in the area.
Amongst other things, we are planning on running a series of time trials and reliability/audax rides over the course of the year – check back soon for more details.
